I remember watching this fight and i thought it was a great fight. I've never been big on Vasquez but that was very impressive what he did to Gonzalez. Even though Gonzalez had knoced down Vasquez down Vasquez never really seemed hurt that i recall. Vasquez was just putting on the pressure and his power was showing up when Vasquez really needed his power. I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch.

for me fight of the year is Mahapour and the Thia guy who lost to Cabllero.

i think Saurez action in that fight gives him the worst trainer of the year.

The guy didnt look hurt but he was tired and the guys father though he could contiune.

if i was Jhonny i think of kicking Saurez and keeping my daddy on the corner. Saurez even didnt ask if Jhonny could contuine or not.

Not many people know this....but Suarez later told a mutual friend of ours...that Jhonny later thanked Suarez and told him he was hurt.

Jhonny never protest the stop, only his father did.

Either way, Jhonny has tons of heart and is a warrior.

maybe your right but its better stop now than stopped by death or permenat injury.

so the worst trinaer should go to Quitana trainer because they want him to contiune round and he is badly hurt by bodyshots and to contiune 7 round to win is simply impossiable for a person to handl it

I can understand why some people were questioning the stoppage though. You make a case for Jhonny...

He fought a perfect fight in the 6 rounds and his corner could of given him the benefit of the doubt.

But, Jhonny was tired and hurt. The last knocked down, Jhonny stared at his corner....It seemed he didn't want to fight, but didn't want to quit at the sametime.

Besides to Suarez credit....Jhonny fought the best 6 rounds in his life. And Suarez had a part with that.

Either way Jhonny deserves alot of credit, despite the lost.
