    If Floyd Wins..........?

How many of you actually think he will retire? I dont think he wants to retire, I think he is just tired of the Bull **** & everyone hating on him.

The fact is to beat Oscar he will have to fight very well and this will be a huge fight. If he beats Oscar on this stage, with everyone watching, then there is no way he retires. Despite what the haters think, Floyd has tried super hard to get fights with Oscar, Shane, Hatton, & would easily fight Cotto. It is so ****** for people to say that Floyd shouldnt move up without fighting these guys or they say that he didnt fight the top guys and they name those same guys, when Floyd has actually always wanted to fight them.

Just like now, if Oscar didnt want the fight like he's been saying forever then Floyd still wouldnt have a real opponent except for the Super Special "Margarito"

Now lets get to the facts. I think even the people who love Floyd will admit that while he is still elite, he has definatly slowed some at 147 because the weight is too much for him and you know 154 will be even tougher but I personaly dont think it will stay that way. The more time that goes by & the more he gets used to the weight then he will look at 147 like he did at 140. Now if he beats Oscar at 154 then when he moves back down to 147 it will feel that much more easier to him and he probally will feel fast at 147 and he probally will have filled in at that weight by then.

Basically Im saying that if he beats Oscar then his name will be huge, he can then have alot of pull in negotiations, and the top guys will want to fight him more. If he beats Oscar then I have no doubt that he would definatly take a fight with Mosley, Cotto, & even Margarito once he feels good at 147. What do you guys think? Remember, the question is if Floyd "wins" then what will he do?

well he's not going to win so

The way I see things playing out is Oscar beats him and then goes on to fight Winky maybe at a catch weight and Floyd and Shane fight for Oscars vacated belt.

He will win on May 5th, and I'm not sure if he will keep fighting. I hope he continues to fight.

It doesn't matter because he's not gonna beat Oscar at 154.

If he wins, I think he will retire, but only if he has something else to go into.

I don't know, I think you would really have to know him personally to make a real judgement.

I think he should retire, why not.
He will be 30, and he isn't going to get any better...his speed and reflexes will start to decline once he gets into his 30's.

He has tried to get fights with Hatton, Ricky didn't want to fight, so **** him.

He tried to get a fight with Winky, and Winky wanted 50% or so I hear.

Cotto? Bob Arum didn't want to put him in with Mayweather, if he did, the fight would of been made. I still would like to see it happen though.

I would of still liked him to fight Shane Mosley, Cotto, Hatton, etc., but oh well.

If he does retire after the Oscar fight (with a victory), and stays retired, I will show some mad respect for a fighter that got out before the sport ate him up like it did so many others.
But he still no Ray Robinson.

He will win,and he will keep fighting.

The only way he dosent win is if he gets robbed,or if him and oscar have an "agreement" and the rematch is already booked.

Typical Floyd fan the only way he loses is if he gets robbed. The fight hasn't even happened and you'll are already making excuses.

Of course he will still fight. After DLH. he can get a huge payday to fight cotto, hatton, or mosley
