Thats Some Bull ****. Well I think Taylor is the Super Champion.. So Taylor is still the WBA champion but you won't see the WBA title on boxrec getting defended by Taylor.

Taylor is the Lineal Champ....this means nothing. Alll it does is further defile the already putrid reputation of yet another deplorable sactioning body. They have discredited themselves, not Taylor.

yeah I think Carrera is the Interim champ since Taylor is now the "super champ"
Just another way for the WBA to make more money from sanctioning fees.

No better way to discredit yourself in a deep division than having a Carrera/Sturm match for a "major" title. Sturm is a joke. Considering the circumstances, even a Castillejo/Carrera rematch would have make more sense than Sturm. It's all a popularity/money contest over there. Sturm was a headliner on the Castillejo card AFTER getting brutally KTFO. In case you forgot...

The sanctioning bodies are all corrupt. Belts mean less and less each day. Same with the IBF stripping Calzaghe.

If boxing isn't able to get it's own national commission, with one solid champion per division again, then you're going to see it continue to fade and fade. UFC has really begun to just kick boxing's ass all over the place, and it's going to get worse with dumb **** like this. The powers that be in boxing have let this go on for so long, and everyone has dragged their feet with a national commission to the point where it's not going to even matter in a another few years.

That's overplaying it a bit too much. You're saying boxing will be irrelevant in another few years? You're also giving UFC a little too much credit. They have competition too, and a much weaker talent pool. Wait til these "big names" of UFC start wilting away. Then watch the numbers crumble.
