Well, promoters in boxing provde the guaranteed contracts that you find in pro sports. You sign with a promoter, you're guaranteed a certain number of fights or a certain number of years. Fighters want this security.

Also, promoters are so deep into boxing that you have to get with the right one to get fights made. For example the PacMan situation. He signs with Arum, a lot of big fights may not happen. He gets with GBP and many opportunities will now prevent themselves. Also, Briggs had to sign with DKP to get that fight with Lyakhovich...

Boxing would be so much better if things were run the way Showtime does things, which is no contracts just paying for the best fights. But promoters are such a big part of the sport, that will never happen...

The fact is, FANS have the Power, then the Boxer, then the Television compainies, then the Promoter...meaning, Promoters are nothing, they cheat, steal, and lie their way into your money...33%, NO ****ING WAY I would pay that ****...they should have a limit like "Agents" do in the NFL.

No big deal about losing...if you have raw talent/potential you shouldn't worry...worry if you have peaked

Yeah I feel you it's a blemish and you can't change it now. But do put up your next fight also.
