Merchant says, Pac is combination of Ali, Bruce Lee, and Elvis and says he would bring peace in Middle East and boxing needs a Pacquiao in every division. That's a huge praise.

Merchant likes balls-to-the-wall fighters. Hopkins and Raheem obviously don't fit that criteria....guess who does.

It's probably Merchant's wet dream that Pacquiao was born in Philly, kidnapped, and taken to the Philapines....hell, he may even slip up during Pac's next fight and call 'em "The Philly-pines.

Well, perhaps because he's a big fan of entertaining crowd pleasers who are willing to take on anyone in their weight range. That is exactly the antithesis of Floyd Mayweather Jr, who Merchant has had an ongoing feud with for years. What you gotta understand about Merchant is that he's an old school Philadelphian who has his mind set already on what a fighter is supposed to be. He's into tough guy work ethic and fighting whoever is perceived to be better.

sir, it is a disgrace to put pac name with 3 legends like ali, lee, and elvis. pac is good but he's no god of boxing, when pac retires he will not make the top 50 all time list. me not hating on pac here.
