I can just imagine the scene now in the Calzaghe household over Christmas.

Enzo: Rightio, Joe boys bach, my little sparrah. Let's have a little chaaat about who you're going to fight next year.
Joe: I want that one (points at a picture of Bernard Hopkins).
Enzo: Joe, we've discussed this. Hopkins has retired and will only return from retirement if it's for a shot at the World Heavyweight title.
Joe: I want that one (points at picture of Hopkins again).
Enzo: Well, what about Jermaine Taylor. Uncle Frank tells me our friends in the States have said we can fight him in the summer ... and he did of course beat Hopkins twice.
    Joe: Yeah, OK.
Enzo: Of course, there are other alternatives.
    Joe: You don't mean ...
Enzo: Well, I don't want to ruin Christmas for you, but ...
    Joe: You're not serious ...
Enzo: Joe, he's willing to come here. We wouldn't even have to travel.
Joe: But Daddy! He's scary, what with those big, very heterosexual tattooes. AND he beat a rugby player up - and they can be quite big and scary themselves.
Enzo: OK lad. We'll just stick to beating some more yanks up. You get back to your turkey, it's getting cold.

Andrade definitely doesn't have the boxing ability to beat kessler but he's banking on drawing him into a war in which he is able to outlast him. Andrade has very little defense but a big punch, i'd have kessler as the favorite although andrade is one of my favorite fighters (in my sig btw).

He's not very experienced though, he has barely even gone full time pro, i think he barely quit his other job under a year ago. I hope he can beat kessler although i will admit kessler is the favorite, i pick andrade by late KO

This will happen if Calzaghe fought Kessler

Straight from the beginning Kessler will throw more than 100 punches per round. They will all be straight on target and Joe has never seen anything remotely like it (the closest is Reid, but there is still a couple of levels difference). Joe will be frustrated and loose a couple of rounds easily while trying to think, sidestep etc. Then he will try to outsmart himself as he will skip, skittle all over the place in order to find a solution. In the meanwhile Mikkel will open up even more and put on the power. Joe gets caught as he more and more desparately tries to find a solution. Now Joe wants to brawl... however each time he decides to brawl he gets stopped dead in his tracks by some mean punches straight to the face. At this time (mid 4th round) Joe is bleeding from the nose and both eyes are severely swollen.

His father is in schock and instead of asking Joe to survive he urges Joe on. Joe still has a lot of energy left he just cannot finda way to use it. In the 5th round he is a little more successful and hits Kessler a couple of times with a jab of his own. Joe quickly follows up and flurries - Kessler skips back and Joe jumps after him... And the fight is over. Now Joe know why Kessler was called the Hitman. He has done this a gazillion times (just not in his last 7-8 fights because they generally have protected themselves more). An agressive Joe jumps straight into Kessler's oldest tactic. To skip back when in a little "trouble" and hope the opponent follows in order to keep the perceived pressure on. He plants his feet the second he land from the skip and smack!

Joe is looked after by the medical staff and only 4 minutes later Joe is able to stand up and the crowd cheer. Joe has won more from this loss than from all his wins added up
