    Librado Andrade awaits Mikkel Kessler

Andrade, 24-0 (18 KO's), is ranked #1 in the 168-pound division by the WBC and set to fight for the title against the highly regarded champion Mikkel Kessler of Denmark. "We're in negotiations right now with Kessler's people. This is definitely going to happen. It's been a long time coming," Andrade said.

I've said it since day 1, I got a feeling about Andrade. I think he's the future of SMW class.

Not really, I've seen Andrade live against Otis Grant in Montreal.

Andrade didn't impress me very much. He's just a strong guy but he's not especially talented. He's not in the class of Kessler. I think Kessler would win by a stoppage.

I also saw his fight against Grant in Montreal, I was impressed. He's pretty good and might have a chance against Kessler. He'll be the best fighter that Kessler has faced.

It would be unlikely, his homework is flawless. But yes, Andrade looks strong from what i've seen, i think Kessler found a good opponent in his mandetory. I'm looking forward to it.

Does Andrade have a tvdeal? Or is he totally unknown outside his country?
And does anybody have Andrade links/downloads?

Last I saw, that boy FEROCITY had a link for youtube, I think it was the Grant fight. Also, I believe everything EL JEFE just said, even Vince Young for president. I've been following Librado ever since he came out in the " New Faces " section of the Ring Magazine a few years ago. As a Mexican fighting in the bigger weight classes I consider him the underdog. As a Mexican-American fan, it's great to have somebody to cheer for other than the smaller warriors.

You can find the Andrade-Grant fight at

Andrade looks pretty good, but does he have the strength & skills to beat Kessler?
Doubtful is my feeling, but should be a good fight.
