I'm probably in the minority that thinks Collazo has the style to beat Cotto. He's ALOT faster than Quintana, better defense, & doesn't lean when he's boxing giving up his reach advantage. Collazo knows how to use his height & reach to his advantage because he used it well against Hatton. He also has a very good jab & that's what's needed to get Cotto out of his rhythm.

Colllazo has always been one of those 2 weeks notice guys. Hatton was originally not supposed to fight him and Mosley was supposed to fight Cintron or someone like that I think. So if Collza is given enough time to train and sharpen up, he may be able to pull a miracle.

I really like Collazo, the guy is calling everybody. He called Cotto, Hatton, Margarito. I think that the real most feared fighter in the division isn't Margarito but Collazo.

In a fight against Cotto, i say Collazo would win. Why ? He's an intelligent fighter. Quintana wasn't intelligent at all when trying to make a war against Cotto. It's really possible to beat Cotto, you have to keep your gameplan, stay intelligent and outbox him. Collazo would beat him like he beat Hatton. I hope this fight will happen, Collazo definitively deserves great fight against great fighter.

I agree to an extent but it'll come down to can Collazo take the bodyshots that put away Quintana. If he can take them like Urkal we might have a competitive fight. Collazo will always look good against fighters he's faster than(hatton,maybe cotto). But when he's not the faster man like he wasn't against Mosley he'll be outgunned. Not many in the welterweight division are as fast as Mosley even at 35.

Who gives a **** about Collazo? Why would Cotto even entertain the thought of a fight against this scrub no one gives a **** about? Fighters always wanna call out the big stars to bring themselves up...

Reminds me of Vivian Harris always calling out fighters like Cotto before getting put in his place by Carlos Maussa, who Cotto ripped apart.
