you guys are forgetting about collazo's defense, its real good. just like winky wright. he doesn't get hurt.
12 rounds with a ricky hatton and he was not hurt. not much visible damage.
and he's much faster with footwork and hand speed than quintana.
his combinations are much crispier.

I think it was taking a lot out of Cotto to suck weight to make 140. He seems a lot stronger now.

Collazo has been talking a lot of **** to try and get a fight with Cotto in June, but I think Cotto would tear him up. Cotto is much better than Hatton and his body is a better fit for welterweight than Hatton's. Cotto would KO Collazo...

I feel alot more confident picking Cotto now after the Quintana fight because: A - we know he is a FULL welter unlike Ricky and, B - Collazo is similar to Quintana in style and both r southpaws. Cotto mid to late stoppage!

Hatton's power isnt as good as Cotto's either tho. Hatton wears ppl out through body work and work rate and sorta wrestlin in there.

I dont think Cotto will steam roll him tho. i feel Collazo has a very slick, tricky style. I think Cotto would be behind on points early but take the middle and late rounds to win a UD. Since Cotto doesnt watch tapes of his opponents he studys them in the ring as he fights; therefore, he'd only get better as the fight goes on.

cotto is better at 147 than hatton but he is not better than hatton over all. they have different styles and are the two most exiting fighters in the sport today.
