Lamon Brewster: "Klitschko Let's Do It!"

After suffering a detached retina early on in his fight against Sergei Liakhovich former WBO heavyweight champion Lamon Brewster has been given a clean bill of health. He is eager to prove he remains the best and most exciting heavyweight out there, and intends to take on any of the current champions and unify the belts once and for all. [details]

Now we're talking. This is the most important single HW fight out there in my very humble opinion.

Klitschko doesn't gas out this time, and Brewster becomes the victim of a vicious beating not too dis-similar to the one he took during the first 4 rounds of the first fight.

Why talk about unifying the division when you can have superfights like Valuev-McCline?

I just hope that someone unifies the division, I really don't care who. I think Klit has the best shot but hopefully we will see someone do it.

while im glad to see that brewster's coming back, i have to say to him just like i said to corrie sanders and every other HW out there: "if you want wlad, get in line and wait your turn."

I will never consider Wlad the true champ.. even if he unifies as long as Brewster and sanders remain unavenged.. he must fight at least one of them..

I'd love to see a Wald-Brewster rematch but I think it would be a one sided beating in favor of Wlad. I'm not saying that there was definitely some monkey business at work in their first fight but I will say this: I don't see the same result happening again.

I'm not sure if Brewster should get an automatic "fight with Wlad" card. He lost to Sergei and has been inactive for awhile. Also for his own good he should get a tuneup. Sultan would be good, though I think Ibragimov would actually have a good chance of beating him. Peter would be too dangerous IMO.

Calvin Brock would be perfect. Both guys coming off a lose. Brewster should fight Brock.

I love Brewster; he's my favorite heavyweight. However, he does need to fight at least one contender before challenging Wlad IMO.
