Everyone needs to calm down, there are good points and bad about both America and Britain. True some Americans are arrogant but so are some British, I don't see why people are even talking about this on a boxing forum.

Yes Britain colonised America, that was hundreds of years ago were any of you alive then? No, well lets concentrate on boxing and let go of the petty and pointless argument that this has turned into.

The USA has given us the greatest boxers of all time, sorry but it's true, look at it logically. I am proud to be British but I'm not going to say British boxers are p4p the best in the world when its not true.

By P4P in this sense I assume the ratio of top class boxers to population?

        Cuba - no question.
Population of about 7 million & god knows how many top class boxers.

OK, the only ones we see in the pro ranks since the 50's are the defectors, but when you considers the majority of US fighters that make the Olympic team go on to being top class pros, & that almost all that get a medal end up winning a pro championship, the cubans are so far ahead of the rest of the world it's almost amusing.

Guilty concious? I'd really like to know where the hell you got from, because I seriously doubt there was anything like that, it is just your way of dodging the points I made. Just for your information, my family came here just before WWII. My grandfather fled Italy because of Mussolini, and my other side of the family came here (roughly) around the same time from Germany. And I guess there goes the whole British at heart thing too. So STFU because you don't know **** about me, and stop sidestepping what I said.

England is by far the greatest country in the world.

American's generally are a laughing stock, outside of America. I love their funny accents, though.

I completely agree that Britain has had some great boxers, especilly for it's size. I have nothing against Britian, or the British or anything like that and I would love to go there. The whole thing with col. blake (regretablly) spiraled down into the bull**** it is now. I'm gonna respond to what he said. As for the sig, why not. It's a great picture, if you look at the timing, the infuence, meaning behind it etc. with a lot of history to it. It's not there for the gore factor.

LOL the boom headshot, I forgot that was there. Its from a video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1LpI6yN6Os), its pretty funny if you get it. Now that I think about it tho, I guess I should take it down, takes away from the point anyway.

Besides, as for the p4p ****, we all know that the UK has an unfair advantage since its not one country but more like 3 and 1/4.
