Now, he's not sure if his punches are doing such devastation and he doesn't want to compromise his stamina as much, because really when you are that big it takes a lot out of you to throw with such intensity. He's a great talent, but he just needs to get in there with someone he can KO, like I said at the end of the piece.
i think he's gonna need two or maybe three easy fights agiainst club fighters, someone who's never been on his level

For real, all that he needs is a few KOs and he's got his confidence back.

Pshhh.... I don't think it's JUST confidence that Lacy's lacking. He's lacking any real talent. I don't think it was Calzaghe who was superior, or Lacy who was insanely superior. It was just an elite fighter vs a guy who never was equal to the hype that surrounded him.

I don't even think Manny or Roach are what he needs. He needs someone like Teddy Atlas. BOOM!!!! You heard it here first, I dunno why I didn't think of that before. Atlas would be perfect for him, absolutely ****ing perfect. He knows boxing's mental game better than even Steward, and he's probably an even better trainer.

Excellent article! And I agree completely on the Teddy Atlas choice. You know, it didn't even cross my mind until you mentioned it but I could see how he could work for Lacy.
