So I am guessing you weren't surprised that he didn't fight Kessler?
or move up to Light-Heavyweight way back when he was calling out Roy?

What you fail to realize is that the Calzaghe was born to be given to us by the boxing gods. Should he be sent to the canvas he will rise again and transcend this existence.

        Peace be to Joe.
He does actually have a cross on his arm and have the same initials as Jesus Christ.

Though Run/W, two questions for ya old pal:

        1. Are we still on for the Wladdy bet; and if so, what were the terms again (one more successful fight or two?) and how are we going to work out the cash?

        2. Where ARE these "Joe Blow is the ****" threads of which you speak? I can't see any, I just read the hate threads.

The Calzaghe was given to the boxing fans for a reason. Though we know not the reasons, or understand the decisions- know that the Calzaghe always has a purpose.

            Peace be to Joe.

I would love to see calzaghe fight one of those three, but i don't think joe will get credit no matter who he beats, i can see the following excuses already:

after beating taylor: "Taylor was green, he should've already lost 3 times"

              kessler: "just another euro bum"

hopkins: the classic, "he was way past his prime, 5 years ago b-hop would've put a whuppin on him"

NONSENSE.. not for me anyways.. either of those names would give him the cred he feels he deserves.. Taylor in My opinion beat Winky.. And Well Kessler has the other 2 belts.. What exactly is Manfredo gonna do him or his name?.. I am sorry but it stinks..

What adamk said. We still don't know that he won't fight those guys.

The thing is, Joe Blow has already beaten BETTER than Kessler. But back then people didn't rate Joe Blow, so they didn't feel the need to boost up the rep of his opponents in order to discredit him.

If the Lacy fight had happened earlier, then we would have been hearing about The Blow ducking Tocker Puddwell or whatever his ****ing name is.

I don't see the problem with sucking on the Blow's **** a little, as long as it's within reason. Maybe just get a bit of pre-cum out, without letting him shoot his full load, you know what I mean?

Considering this is a forum where every day I seem to read someone saying that Gayleather is a better boxer than Sugar Ray Robinson because "he didn't even look close to losing against Carlos Baldomir" (c. Diego ****o, 2006) then I don't think it's only with the Blow that there's a lack of perspective.

All joking aside, I feel Calzaghe might need a bull**** fight to deflate his head a bit. It seemed to me he fought Bika thinking he was amazing. He clowned around like he was in a music video for the first half of the fight. He almost got himself in real trouble. He needs to fight a journeymen to put him back in place....have everyone doubt him, and give him something to prove again.
