Boom Boom Batista is the real deal

Seriously, this guy is going to be huge. He has crushing power but also great balance and throws in combination. He doesn't move his head enough, but he turns over every punch great and is technically sound. This kid is serious, and at 20 he;s only going to get better.

I just saw the fight and I didn't think Andrade put on a real test for Bautista. Andrade didn't take a lot of punishment in my eyes that would make him quit in round 4 but maybe his 36-year old body just couldn't take it anymore.

As for Bautista, I still think he is not ready for Ponce De Leon but I would like to see the fight happen immediately to see where he stands right now in his career.

He's not ready yet for the rough kind of combat that De Leon takes, who is like Pacquiao in that he lacks world class technique but brings so much spirit and fight to the ring.

Wasn't there talks about Boom Boom fighting Rafael Marquez or something? That fight would really show where Boom Boom is right now.

Too soon, Marquez is a whole 'nother level right now. Boom Boom is still adjusting to things.

Nah, that was Gerry Penalosa, not Bautista. I think you've been spending a lot of time in Pacland lately
