I think this would be a much more competitive fight, not like those boxing lessons Lacy received from Calzaghe or Tsypko. Froch seems to enjoy a bit of a tear up, defence wide open at times, I'm sure I witnessed him trying to use a rope-a-dope tactic one time. The problem for Lacy is that Froch has skill too.

My prediction would be a war for about 3-4 rounds, then Froch to pull far ahead and maybe even get a stoppage win. Or they could fight in Florida, Froch could whoop Lacy's ass and then Lacy wins a majority decision.

He's SLOW, WIDE OPEN and has a LOW ACTIVITY LEVEL. He's been able to pull it off with his present style against mediocre opposition, but we've seen time and time again what happens when someone like that steps up to better competition (Lacy-Calzaghe anyone). He's simply not gonna land on slick and fast ppl like Calzaghe, Kessler or Mundine for that matter. Then his much talked about power won't do him much good.

Due to Froch's low level of opposition (and a genuine dislike for the guy), I still have Lacy a very clear fave - Even though i'm no Lacy fan.
But Froch...??? Basicly ANY other prospect you'd have a case - but Froch!?!
Oh no i came across all wrong. Froch has a lot to prove to me. I dont believe he is as good as he thinks he is! Its just that i think Lacy was overhyped and that i think Froch could take him. I woiuld certainly favour Joe against Froch anytime.
