Froch vs Lacy.

After watching that pitiful performance last night, who do you think would take this fight?

I thought it was pretty even stevens before, but now I'd pick Froch by KO.

hes way too smart to be hit by lacy... froch has never been down as an amateur or pro, and ive never seen him hurt

I am thinking that Froch could give Calzaghe fits and even beat Him.. I am starting to realise the guy is always in control, accurate and powerful.. and I am realising his defence in underated.. I think froch is for real and would smoke Lacy and do what Cal couln't.. Knock him out

i think Froch is actually more powerful than Lacy; Lacy has a bodybuilder's physique so he looks powerful, but he usually wins more by volume of punches than one punch knock outs. Lacy seems to be a bit of a mauler, Froch fires out controlled power punches. Froch's punches would get through Lacy and put him in a world of pain.

Froch doesn't waste that many punches, Lacy does.. Lacy does have power but his accuracy and timing is utter ****e, he lands nothing but singular shots and fails to follow up on them.

Froch on the otherhand conserves his shots, and when he does land you'll know about it.

Only seen parts of the Froch Dodson fight this far. But from what i've seen I'm completely at loss as to how you can put so much faith in Froch. He's SLOW, WIDE OPEN and has a LOW ACTIVITY LEVEL. He's been able to pull it off with his present style against mediocre opposition, but we've seen time and time again what happens when someone like that steps up to better competition (Lacy-Calzaghe anyone). He's simply not gonna land on slick and fast ppl like Calzaghe, Kessler or Mundine for that matter. Then his much talked about power won't do him much good.

Due to Froch's low level of opposition (and a genuine dislike for the guy), I still have Lacy a very clear fave - Even though i'm no Lacy fan.
But Froch...??? Basicly ANY other prospect you'd have a case - but Froch!?!

Froch has done little to impress me so far, he's certainly talented, but he has a few flaws. Lacy is a lot of things, but he's not a powder-puff puncher. This fella Froch is too overconfident and he will pay the price when he steps up.

Jeff Lacy is a former world champion, Froch is only a champion at being an arrogant, smug idiot it seems. I'm not even sure he could beat Robin Reid.

i was listening to an interview with froch on radio 5 yesterday, and he actually comes across as quite an intelligent guy.

he's not arrogant, he just really really believes he's the best boxer who's ever lived, and is yet to live.
