i had tsypko beating lacy 96-94.
lacy started good but once old boy found out how to deal with lacy's game plan he took control of the fight, there is no way lacy beat tsypko. lacy almost got dropped twice and was getting hit with clean punches all night long, where as lacy's punches were either hitting glove, missing, or occasionally landing.
the announcers were saying that tsypko needed to be more active but he out landed lacy in total punches and in power punches. he hit lacy cleaner and he staggered lacy, lacy hit tsypko hard but it didn't phase him in the slightest. and why does tyspko have to do more than lacy to get any credit, lacy isnt the champ, lacy wasn't dominant, lacy isn't king **** to where you have to totally outclass him, he's just another fighter, lacy was the one that had to prove himself last night, not tsypko. and i think lacy was out boxed plain and simple, all lacy proved is that hometown judging strikes again as well as your new promoter having mad leverage in the boxing world.
lacy was given a gift and at this point lacy doesn't need gifts he needs a reality check, because giving him a fight like this isnt preparing him for harder fights in the future, he is going to fall right into the same place he was before fighting Joe Calzaghe, thinking he can dominate or ko anyone..........when all that is going to happen is him learning the hard way again and in embarrassing fashion too....................
the best way to see that lacy is losing the fight even without scoring it, was looking into the front row and seeing DLH,BHop, Mosley, and his dad Jack. they all had a look of concern on their faces and you could tell that they were thinking lacy is having his hands more than full.
