I think Lacy needs to get with a quality trainer (like Buddy McGirt, Freddy Roach, or Manny Stewart) or quit. He's just going to get hurt if he fights decent opposition. He fought a Heinz Tomato Can last night and almost got KO'd. He barely deserved a draw in that fight.

He really needs to go back to the drawing board.

Tsypko is no bum, he was regarded as a very good prospect until his very controversial win over Magee and his fairly close loss to Chanet. He is quite an awkward fighter too, it was a tough first fight back for Lacy.

I agree that someone like Freddy Roach would definately be good for Lacy, make him a bit more controlled and help him pick his punches better. Roach has a track record of refining brawlers into more rounded pugilists.

Lacy just has too much muscle. He was lucky his stright right was on target for about 2 rounds at the start of the fight. Tsypko saw that thing coming but had no head movement until he figured it out by the 3rd round. Lacy's punches are strong but looping.

Imagine what Tsypko could do if he had a Steward, Roach or McGirt as a trainer?

As I have said many times before, Calzaghe has RETIRED Lacy. Regardless of whether we have to watch 2 or 3 more comically bad performances like last night or not, the end result will be the same: he has been RETIRED.

He's a one-dimensional bodybuilder with no skills. I wasn't even that excited about Calzaghe's performance, all this talk of it being a 'career-defining' fight was a joke. It's just proof of what a poor state the division is in that he was considered a talent. He'll be flipping burgers before the year is out.

            Germany is not Tsypkos hometown.

He trains and fights out of Dnipropetrovsk.

I'm aware of Mr Tsypko's nationality and I didn't say Germany was Tsypko's base of operations. The fact remains that he has fought a lot in Germany and German crookedness robbed Magee.

Well I didnt see the fight and I believe you. If Magee was robbed then thats gay.

But last night Tsypko was robbed. Thats gay x2.

And there should be no gay in boxing.

                If you catch me drift.

This could have gone either way. If this is the worst "robbery" you have ever seen then you must be a huge Tsypko fan, or a huge Lacy hater.

Regardless if you thought the decision was a robbery, fair, or unfair there will always be questionable decisions in boxing. I agree it's unfair to the fighter on the losing side of the decision. However, if you're a professional boxer then you should expect that at least, once if not several times in your career you're going to be on the winning end and/or the losing end of a questionable decision and should learn to deal with it and try to turn it into a positive.

For example, Larry Holmes was on the losing side of a questionable decision against Michael Spinks and subsequently was unable to beat Marciano's heavyweight record. Talk about feeling robbed! However, Holmes got over that bad decision and was able win some very career defining fights as well as making some good money along the way.

In contrast, Fres Quendo lost a very bad decision to former IBF champ Chris Bryd in which many called a "robbery." As a result Oquendo let that fight and bad decision get to him and hasn't been much of a factor ever since.

Point is, bad decisions happen all the time in boxing and the fighters have to realize that and not let it ruin their careers.
