Where is this news coming from? I haven't seen anything on boxingscene, ESPN, or of all places boxrec. Frankly, I don't believe this to be a true story. If it is true, then Valuev must not have a brain in the huge head of his to let DK keep on giving him these "handpicked" opponents who don't merit title shots.

Prime ****ing example of the WBA being in king's pocket. Lennox Lewis fought Evander Holyfield for unification. Lewis had the WBC and then won the IBF and WBA by beating Holyfield. What the **** happened right after that ****ing unification fight? The WBA immediately stripped Lewis before he even had a chance at defending it because mother****er don king forced them to because he did not have promotional rights on Lewis. Then magically the WBA orders a fight between Holyfield and Ruiz for the WBA belt. Both fighters of course were don king fighters. What a ****ing joke. For all of us who are calling for Wlad to unify the belts, we are wasting our time. If Wlad wins both the WBC and WBA belts, guarantee you that he will be stripped by the don king run WBA immediately. Nothing is going to change in the heavyweight division unless don king gets killed or dies.

Link or no link, alot of poster here are willing to buy any news without any creditable sources. That's why I'm always skeptical of news threads without a source and that sound, far-fetched. First thought is, that a Valuev-Mccline bout sounds far-fetched but after you ponder it for awhile and you consider Valuev's previous opponents and DK's bull****, it kinda makes sense.
