    You idiots...

were just waiting for a close match so you could claim that someone was exposed. all four of those fighters who fought on showtime were the real deal and the guys who lost are title contenders on down the line.

i done told all of you that cotto is the real deal and he'd look much more fluid at 147. clottey held his own and was a warrior to fight with and injured left...his main weapon. basically anybody trying to discredit any of these dues needs to shut the **** up.

    cotto/mayweather 2007.

What about Margarito? Surely we can discredit him some more.....

ReppinDubK, I am in the same boat mate, I have only seen a few highlights of Margarito and was never overly impressed by him but the way some people talk of him you would think he is the second coming of Ali.

He was quite sloppy imo and PBF would pick him off with ease, as would Cotto.

Margarito doesn't belong in the sport of boxing, period. He should try out toughman competitions or some **** because if he got in there with the likes of a skilled boxer, like Floyd Mayweather, he'd have to retire out of shame afterwards.

Fighters rarely ever beat boxers. A slick boxer will almost always defeat a rough puncher, numerous examples come to mind right now with only a small handful of exceptions.

I feel that Clottey was VERY underrated coming into this fight. Clottey was basically an undefeated fighter with a good chin and good boxing skills. He only lost ONCE by DQ in a fight he was winning.

I think Margarito has issues with his defense and dealing with a fighter that has quick hands and quick feet. He needs a fighter to stand in front of him to look impressive.

Also FYI: Margarito went to the hospital after the presser for the Clottey fight for a fractured wrist.

Was that the same hospital he got his vaginoplasty at?

Cotto's chin will always put him in trouble, Mayweather-Margarito will just be another replay of Mayweather-Baldomir. Unless Margarito can cut off the ring, he will never catch Floyd. On the other hand, Floyd will never be able to hurt Margarito, who is more durable than Baldomir.
