Cotto/Margarito would be one of those crowd pleasing fights, lots of power shots, swinging for the fences and serious drama. I'd like to see it happen for that reason alone.

I concur with the Mayweather/Baldomir comparison, we should all expect a carbon copy if that fight ever occured. While Floyd cannot hurt Margarito, he can damn sure frustrate him for 12 rounds. I don't see Margarito catching Mayweather with very much at all in the highly unlikely event of this fight taking place.

Serious enough for you? lol j/k.

I've heard rumor he broke his left hand and may have broken his right. As it stands now the only thing I know for sure was his left hand was very damaged.

He broke his index finger on the left hand, and they said he may have also broken the right.

At the same time, it's part of the game, not Margarito's fault.

Funny post-fight presser. Margarito, Clottey and Quintana all head to the hospital. Cotto on his own to do interviews.

The only evidence of Cotto's supposed weak chin comes from a slight wobble against Chop Chop and he done everything right in that round to regain his stability and a few shaky moments against the still fairly unknown Torres.

Both times he was suffering from serious weight drain issues, more so against Torres though( he has been for a few years imo)

He is at a far more comfortable weight now and the only fighter that can give him any kind of trouble @147lbs is PBF who is hardly a big puncher, but I doubt Floyd will want any part of him though as he is to busy lining up his big payday against Oscar De la Pensioner.

Plenty of fighters killed themselves to make weight, like De La Hoya did at 147 and below, and had no chin issues. That was no slight wobble against Corley, he was out on his feet. I still say that fight was fixed, because Corley had him out and instead targeted his body for the remainder of the round. Even HBO was like "why is he throwing punches to his body." Abdulaev stunned him in one of the rounds briefly, Torres almost put him away. Torres had him so hurt in one of the rounds that I thought for sure Cotto was going to sleep, but he surprised me and used those body shots to save the day.

Man that would've been some **** to see! Cotto's the best of the bunch, what can I say? lol.

              EDIT:

And that was no "slight wobble" against Corley, that shot serious hurt Cotto, like it or not, the guy is human. And that punch would've wobbled a horse.

                Margarito should have fought Clottry,

he failed to impress the people.

so it a loss loss fight for him.

As for Cotto his defense is getting better. Cotto is the next p4p king i could tell you that.

Did you see the scoring on the Tony Vs Clottey fight? Both judges 118-112.. That's ****ty!

Everyone gets wobbled. That shot from Corley was fast at blinding speed. Not even i seen that punch. Also remember Corley wobbled Floyd also.. So Cotto is not the only suspect.

Corley should have gone upstairs more...I agree with that. He DID tag him with a few good head shots after he hurt him though. That was a damned good punch he hit him with though...that would have hurt a lot of people.

Abdullaev didn't hurt him. He caught him with a nice straight right (I believe) when Cotto was on the ropes and it halted Cotto's action for a second. The Torres fight was tough. Cotto showed himself to be a ****in boss though...standing up when he could have taken a count or something. He ate a lot of hard power shots and stood up. I couldn't believe that ****.
