Stevens was coming in after fighting only two weeks ago, avenging his only loss with an eight round win over Marcos Primera, while Smith fought one month ago, winning a ten rounder against Kippy Warren. Perhaps the relatively short rest for each fighter contributed to the less-than frenetic pace in this bout. Steven moved forward, pressed and fired his vaunted power shots, but at a lower rate and with not as much sting as normal. Smith was cagey, using his natural height and size advantage to try and tie up and out maneuver the shorter slugger Stevens. Neither fighter was ever in trouble as Stevens pitched a near shutout in an otherwise competitive bout, 100-90, 100-90 and 99-91. With the win, Stevens improves to 15-1, 11 KOs and Smith dips to 17-12, 6 KOs.

Stevens is good. He is a **** though. He already avenged his loss.Honestly, I can't stand Curtis Stevens. I read an article with him in XXL I think it was and dude appears to have no intelligence, he appears to be a complete ****, and he already lost, this early in his career. Too much hype for those too boys. They were the ones who got there chins checked (and they failed, btw
