I've met Jaidon, he was the one I thought would be the front runner of the two. Instead, he fought Allan Green and is still rebuilding his confidence. He looks abit gun shy. Curtis is a bit like Jeff Lacy, but I think he's quicker with the trigger. He throws really good combos.

Honestly, I can't stand Curtis Stevens. I read an article with him in XXL I think it was and dude appears to have no intelligence, he appears to be a complete ****, and he already lost, this early in his career. Too much hype for those too boys. They were the ones who got there chins checked (and they failed, btw )

I have spoken to Jaidon and he is a very intelligent guy. Really smart, analytical, the man understands boxing and the world around him. Jaidon is a total gentleman, easy to like. I never spoke with Curtis Stevens, but he's a guy I really like cuz he plays the role. He's just like another dude from the block and someone I can relate to. I dunno, there's nothing fake about him.

I agree with you about Jaidon. I read an interview with him and he seemed pretty intelligent. I think he understands boxing and understands his place. Curtis, however, is just a ****. I can't stand him. I don't wanna dig through the magazine but he said some pretty harsh **** to one of his opponents after a bout that was just plain ****-ish (for lack of a better word). I was happy as hell when he got knocked out by that bum.

BTW, what is it about New York fighters? They got some ego about them that they think they are tougher then everyon else. Philly, Detroit, hell even Michigan > New Yoooooooork.

            LOL, Detroit is in Michigan.

New York is New York, when you're from here you're the **** LOL. That's the only way to explain it, being from New York is the coolest **** in the world. We think we're better than everybody, cuz we got the biggest buildings and to us, all these other places are farms. We have taxis and big lights, our **** smells prettier.

Curtis Stevens, barely two weeks removed from avenging his only career loss, will travel upstate this weekend and fight for the New York State light heavyweight title against, Dhafir Smith. Stevens, 14-1, went eight rounds against Marcos Primera on November 15th, winning a wide unanimous decision against the man who stopped him in September. On Friday at Vernon Downs in Vernon, New York the Chin Checker is scheduled to go ten against Smith, who has a career record of 16-14-4 but is 3-0-2 in his last five.

                Stevens fights tonight.

Curtis Stevens does seem like a complete idiot. Isn't he the guy who's corner stormed the ring in outrage when he was knocked out? Also can someone explain to me how these two became known as the "Chin Checkers"? Are they friends, cousins? What's the relation?
