Ummmm, in case you forgot Floyd showed up out of shape against Spadafora, and he paid for it. That is why I am drawing the conclusion that he outconditions his opponents...when have you ever seen him out of shape other then Spaddy? I rest my case..
School was in session for the 2nd time today.
what ****ing case, it was a damn sparring session! by saying he outconditions his opponents, that means hes standing in the pocket, taking punches, dishing them, using elite conditioning to go 12 hard rounds of exchanging punches and making the most of his stamina. Floyd isnt that type of fighter.
That is such a dumb comment i cant even begin to piece together the analogies.
"X Star football player showed up to training camp out of shape 5 months before the NFL season, lets panic"
"X Star basketball lost a street pickup game 2 months after the season ended, he looked out of shape...OMG LETS PANIC"
Yeah, he never lost to Castillo and he wasn't losing on the cards agaisnt Chavez?
if thats the case then Hatton "Lost" against Collazo. Having a hard time doesnt not equal losing. Stop reaching. Chavez' corner stopped the fight, chavez was getting his ass kicked as the fight grew longer, which is kind of why there are 12 ROUND FIGHTS.

Come on man.
Dude, don't you understand. I'm not saying that's what Floyd does purely. I'm saying he wins because of his superior athletic ability, his skill, and his ability to outcondition his opponents. You really think Floyd would be able to move up like Toney/Duran and fight larger foes out of shape, or severely weight drained and win based purely on skill. Ummm, no, reflexes and speed is still a large part of Floyd's game (athletic ability).

Dude...Castillo won the first fight, hands motha****in' down.

Zab Judah has everything Floyd has, speed, skill, size, maybe a little lax on the conditioning side, A large part of floyds game is being intelligent. Its everything about his game. Panchito Bojado is also very fast, has outstanding reflexes and has great power, but hes not ring intelligent like floyd is, thus he cant adjust to whats happening.
Adjusting and intelligenCE are huge parts of floyds game, and intelligence beats any amount of strength, Pressure...anything.
being in good condition is just part of it all, but if anybody could just be in good condition and win, boxing would be a whole lot easier, being in good condition doesnt make you smart
Think pernell whitaker, his career virtually parallels floyds. He was also fast, he was also extremely quick, so why is it well into his mid 30's when all of that stuff is supposed to be gone, was he still giving people ****ing fits while having been strung out on drugs, etc?
Because he was smart.

Floyd struggled, he didint lose, and he rematched him just to show he won. Again, if you think he lost that fight, then Hatton lost to Collazo, who was about INCHES from laying his ass out in the 12th round. Last i checked neither fighter had ever lost, neither fighter has an 0 on their record.
