Floyd's PPV Numbers Vs Pac-EM?
Collapse

His pay-per-views did not make as much money. He gets paid more than Pac vs. Morales combined and his fights did not sell more than any of the Pac-Morales trilogy fights. The early numbers for the Trilogy is 350K, with the end probably being around 375-380, which is HIGHER than two of Floyd's PPVs.
Mayweather-Gatti did 340K buys. Baldomir did less, Judah did 350K, the highest of the three and will be no higher than Pacquiao-Morales 3 (remember Mayweather's high purse).
He is the best pound-for-pound fighter in the sport and there were hundreds of empty seats for his fights with Baldomir and Judah.
Morales-Pacquiao = sellout in all three fights.Comment

I'm not really catching the point here.
McDonalds sells more cheese burgers than a buther does steak. What does that mean?
UFC out sold Morales Pacquiao 3, what does that mean?
People don't want to pay to see Roy Jones and Floyd Mayweather in fights where the opponents have no chance of winning because of how far apart their talent and skill sets seperate them.
That doesn't mean other fighters are superior because more people paid to see them.
Mike Tyson was right, he could sell out MSG masterbating. It would probably do 300K + PPV sales. And that means?
This talk about PPV numbers contrasting or illustrating fighter's greatness is just plain silly.Comment

When you claim to be the greatest boxer ever.. greater than ALI Robinson and so forth.. and then you only sell 350k PPVs .. people are going to laugh.. If he is so GREAT then shouldn't he be selling 1000000 PPVs ..?? And this is why people laugh at FLOYD... another reason they laugh is to simply piss his legion of blinded nuthugger fan boys off..Comment
