That is complete and utter rubbish. You really think American youngters are the only ones going into other sports?? football (or soccer) is huge in eastern europe now and there are just as many athletes from soviet republics going into it as there are american's into the nfl or nba.

but thats one sport in comparison to Baseball,american football, basketball, hockey as well as football. Boxing/Football/Basketball are the big things in eastern europe. adding american football and baseball into our equation is what hurts boxing in america, this is definately a fact.
