That's why i feel Guzman is the biggest threat though, he seems to be the most talented and versatile, while the other ones around are good they are not good inside fighters so they are always in danger of being caught by a good shot and going down, although it's possible to avoid for 12 rounds.
that's true. Pacquiao gets his power when he gets a good distance and throws that left straight hand.

Also head movements would help. Morales head was not moving enough and he got hit so many times.

I would also go after the body while doing so since he has been dropped by body shots in the past.
i dont think manny's body is weak. the losses were long before he became a world calss fighter. it came early in his career. since he started fighting in the states i dont remmeber him being kd'd or hurt by body shots becasue i think he started training his body with thai sticls the sticls used by muay thai fighter to strengten the abdomen.

It will take a boxer with skills to beat Pac now or some one that hits hard like Pac himself!

          His name's Juan Guzman.

But other than that style, I'd say a Bernard Hopkins of the 130lb division.. that exact style would be hell for Pacman.

good point, but then his body has gotten better too... morales threw one heck of a body shot in the third fight (can't remember what round) and pac handled it nicely...

IMO, the best way to beat Pac (gulp ) is to counter punch him all night... Disregarding a potential thread hi jack from xcaret and ferocity, JMM is still the best prospect to have a CHANCE with Manny. He is still vulnerable to counters.

Anybody who is HITTABLE is also BEATABLE on any given night, regardless of style or chin.

Pac must respect your power shot to have any chance againts him. back him up. If you dont have the pop. better stay away from him and box.

'Back him up at your own risk' - Larry Merchant

PAC has tremendous stamina so if you're planning to box all night better prepare to box for full 3 mins for 12 rounds. if you blink within that period pac may KO you.

Joan Guzman and Acelino Freitas are the biggest treats IMO.
