Is George Foreman the biggest puncher in heavyweight all-time?

And yet, I bet you'll have trouble in coming up with even one example of Foreman scoring a one-punch knockout in the 70's (the Moorer fight is the only one I can think of from the 90's even), or really even an example of Foreman's one-punch power that didn't score him a knockout...
He be a clubbin', and that's what Foreman did...He clubbed his opponents down with a series of hard & heavy shots.
Shavers was constantly showing off true one-punch power throughout the 70's (e.g. Ellis, Williams, Holmes, Norton, Lyle, etc., etc.), whether he ended up winning the fight or not.
And Stinger, please don't make it sound like Foreman scored an extraordinary number of knockouts against top fighters (champions or contenders), because numerically wise, we both can (or should) think of MANY heavyweights who have more quality knockouts of top heavyweights than does Big George...In fact, I don't think the number would be all that much different than what Shavers' is, although Foreman does have Frazier on his ledger.
frasier and norton were the champ and number 1 contenders respectivly defeating them in 2 rounds a peice is very impressive
and would you please give examples of heavyweights whop scored more 'knockouts of top heavyweights' i can think of few. ali is actually the only one who comes to mind!Comment

Like was said Shavers actually put his body weight behind it and Foreman just threw arm punches and their power is comparable, so if Foreman put his body into it i'm sure he could punch harder than Shavers. So Shavers punched harder but I believe Foreman could have punched harder if he chose to.
Somebody should of taught him to use his whole body.
Foreman didn't have a trainer that could really work with him...yes, he had big name guys that were former fighters, but if that was the end product, that's a shame, what a waste.Comment

Many consider Clark to be the hardest puncher, due to his high ko numbers and most of his kos were actual kos not tkos. He ogt ko'd by Ali btw, so dont make any ideas about him.Comment

Also big power does not always equal one punch ko artist.
I would say Foreman definately had more power than Tyson but Tyson was a better ko artistComment

That's only seven for Foreman by my count.
Ali would certainly be one of them, as would Joe Louis. Larry Holmes would have more. Ditto for Jack Dempsey & Marciano. Sonny Liston, Mike Tyson, Lennox Lews all have more. Sam Langford & Harry Wills. Ezzard Charles too...
And that's just a few of the obvious one from off the top of my head, my friend, with some quick cross references with The Ring's annual rankings if unsure, as well as some of the monthly rankings that I have.Comment

Let's see here, Foreman knocked out/stopped the following heavyweights who were ranked; Chuvalo, Frazier x2, Norton, Lyle, Roman, and Moorer.
