  • is manfredo biteing off too much too soon with calzaghe?

    i don't see him hanging with calzaghe.not that it won't be an interesting fight.
    and then again it wont be a bad loss for him.maybe even adds some respect and statis.

    Calzaghe is there for the taking. He breaks his hand all the ****ing time - even in training, and desperately struggles to make weight - he looked like a white Ephiopian at his last weigh-in (each of his hands looked bigger than his waist!), and he'll be 35 soon.. but I don't think Manfredo is the man to take him if he's that guy from the Contender?

    I'd pick Taylor and Froch over Calzgahe.

      I agree what geoff said i think Calzaghe is past his prime. But he should beat manfredo

        Obviously at almost 35 Calzaghe is past his prime!

        He is still far to good for Manfredo though, although I do rate Manfredo!

          answer: YES, he needs 2-3 more fights on a world class level at least. i'm notsaying he won't be competitive but i don't see him beat Calzaghe at this point in his career.
