The tape on Barreras glove shouldn't have been allowed. Nope, I haven't seen that fight but there was a huge gif going around some time back showing Barrera on the ropes being pumpled than he drops, his corner comes in and throws a bottle at Jones as he jumps on the ropes for victory.

The Ref was very inexperienced. He called a DQ even thought MAB's corner came into the ropes after the bell rang and was complaining about the reff letting Jones T'off on Mab even after the bell. I'm guessing that the Ref dint understand spanish either and that may have added to the confusion.

If the fight would have keep going, and Barrera would have eventually stopped Jones. Jones has a long history of getting winded in the later rounds. How he made it to 12 rounds with Barrera in 2nd fight is cause Barrera chose to box Jones, wrong game plan.
