So you would argue it's his lack of work ethic?

Can he? It's very unlikely. The guy simply doesn't have the dicipline to do it.

If he can come in into major fights out of shape what more can motivate him to cut weight?

No matter how old he is Toney can lose alot more weight than he has been losing before fights. He's just too lazy to do it. His laziness cost him in his last fight because he was too out of shape to avoid alot of Peter's punches. An in shape Toney would of beaten Peter with ease and wouldn't of had to take alot of those punches.

My question is, how in shape can he be when he can't train like a professional boxer for fear of another injury? Again, Roach stated his happiness after they made it out of a training camp unscathed. This doesn't bode well for an athlete looking to lose weight when his trainer is overjoyed when he doesn't get injured.

I've heard he doesn't do roadwork. That sounds like a serious lack in work ethic to me.

Once again we find you in a James Toney thread talking about things you know nothing about.

Roach was quoted in an interview prior to the Peter fight talking about the Road work Toney was doing.

It's also been noted Toney has been in conditioning training since October for this fight coming up.

Funny how what "you hear" coincides with your spitefull hating.

You should really stick to threads you contribute posatively to, like defending Oleg Maskaev.

Roach commented on his roadwork for that fight in a way that made it sound like it was out of the ordinary.

"He ran, and he's been doing road-work" Roach continued. "It's a plus. He's been running the streets for quite a while."
I would say this makes it sound as if James has not normally been doing road work for his recent fights. I'm talking James Toney at heavyweight in general, not his training for a single fight.

And on the topic of this thread, we're talking about reccently, and now.

He did roadwork for the 1st Peter fight, and has been in conditioning training since October.

That makes your contributions useless, and motivated by spite, as per usual.

                    Run along clown.

Motivated by spite? Look at you you little *****, every second you spend at this site is spent consumed in bitterness and anger because of how ****ing pathetic you are. Have you ever thought that it isn't normal to go around a forum provoking fights with everyone?
