I would have been better for his career if he lost to Toney. Now he probably thinks he can put on as much weight as he wants and still be effective.

Possibly. Stands to reason then that the best thing Toney can do now is get a handle on his own weight, kick the **** out of Peter and shame him into losing weight.

The concept of Toney actually losing weight to do that seems like bit of a stretch too though.

True. Toney is full of surprises, but that's one I doubt he's thinking of pulling on us all anytime soon.

BINGO!!!!!.....there's the answer. Or, more succinctly, in answer to the title question: NO.

            Thank you and good night.

He was also getting pounded alot more in the Wlad fight than he was in the Toney fight. James Toney is feather fisted in the heavyweight division. Getting beaten up round after round by a bigger guy take's alot out of your stamina.

Ye, but It would have been better if those 2 knockdowns didint count, eventhough it was one sided...

you have to look at the opponent and the style he fought. he wasnt loading up as much in the toney fight and toney isnt 6'6 240+ lbs,,,,so he wasnt getting pressured by a powerful jab..right hand etc

Peter definitely needs to lose some weight. If he can get down to 240-245 it'll help him tremendously with his stamina. The question is, does he have the dedication to do that & I really don't think so.

257 is a bit heavy, Im guessing he should be 240
