I'd have to go with Big Klit in a rematch simply because their boxing skills would have deteriorated so much that it would be another slug out and he'd have the better natural punch resistance. Without being in the competitie environ for such a long time the Mon could be taken out relatively easily IMO.

I'd definitely buy it, but both would be silly to come back.

      Yep, I would buy it.

They even in retirement are a bigger draw than anything around at the minute!

The rematch would never happen. When Lennox said he was retiring, deep down i knew he would never come back, just by the type of person he is. When he says something it is like u know he mean it.
On the other hand when Vitali said he was retiring.....i was thinking to myself what is the big guy playing at. Like he was up to something. But Vitali i think will still return. Just without Lewis.

Vitali was under pressure to 'retire'; he did the right thing and we won't know for another year or so, if ever, how sincere the whole thing was.

Oh I would definitely buy it. I'd pay full pops for it.

I have to say that, even as a Brit, Klitschko would win. Lewis is too far gone and he looked very bad in that fight. He won legitimately, but he looked awful and he felt the wind change around him.

He did the right thing. He'd already dominated two generations of heavyweights. What else was there to do?

Boxing had never given Lewis his due; I don't see why he should have served himself up on a platter so they could see him devoured by the new lion.

I also doubt a 2nd fight would end the same way, as Vitali's cut was almost freakishly bad. I'm not saying Vitali would win, but I think the odds are someone would come out on top via knockout or stoppage in the mid to late rounds.

This is complete fantasy as Vitali will likely never fight again but let's say both men are in good health and return to the form they were at before their retirement (no rust, injuries etc.). Who wins?

There is no chance I would buy the PPV inasmuch as I am not a believer in geriatric boxing. Lennox Lewis and Vitali Klitschko belong in their rocking chairs along with all the other old timers. By the way, prime-for-prime, Lewis would send him home early and make it look easy. They aren't even in the same league.

i would watch it but probably on the replay

lewis is a gray-haired 40+ year old lame announcer and the other is an injured guy whose best wins are over fat old golfers, fat whales who lose to john louise, and herbie 'glass chin' hide.

the fight would probably dissapoint, like louis-conn 2
