lol, those are fights that were not even on T.V. Those were fights to keep him in the gym. Answer this question....Who the hell has 70 big fights? Look at Ray Robinson, you could say the same about him with your logic, but guess what?, these types of fighters were active and always fighting. Chavez's championship record alone would make anyones jaw drop if they knew anything about boxing.http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=8119
Chavez fought SUPER ELITE BUMS for defending his title:
1986-03-22 136½ Roberto Collins Lindo 135¾ 1-12-0
1989-10-27 Ramon Aramburu 0-0-0

lol, for the first time , I'm with Ferocity and Mexicans.
Yes , Pacquiao his a great fighter and deserve credit for the fight of Saturday. But now, it's becoming really ******. In another thread, some of you think Pacquiao would ko Pbf, and now you are saying that Chavez only fought bum. Come on, Pino want credit for Pacquiao and i give it to you, Pac is great.
But you must give credit to Chavez to, Chavez is not overrated, he was a fantastic fighter, one of the best ever. Pac beat a guy that was shot ( Morales ), that doesn't mean that he can ko Lennox Lewis Pbf and Chavez in his prime. Come back to earth please...
Chavez is great, even if I think that Sweet Pea beat him, but that's another story...Comment

Than what are you still doing alive? I guess should have hanged yourself by now once realizing the fact that Puerto Ricans are not even good enough to mix it up with the elite in that division. By the way....what happened to Puerto Rican fighters? They're not even giving us anymore competition. Thats to bad, I guess Filipinos can take your place. You guys are old news.Comment
