I think Joe will win but i agree that i dont think it will be as easy as some people think it will be. Those guys on contender were trained really well and lived and breathed boxing. And they were decent before going on the show as well.
Joe will win. I dont think he should be fighting him, because it will be a tough fight for him and he wont get credit for beating him as well. Joe should fight Winky Wright, Kessler or even Antonio Tarver. They will also be tough fights but at least he will get some kind of credit for beating one of them.

No, not because he was on The Contender, but because he has a HUGE head and has done NOTHING in boxing. Plus, he lost to Sergio Mora twice. He really thinks a lot of himself. It's evident when you hear/read his interviews. The fact of the matter is, he's done absolutely NOTHING in the sport of boxing that should matter and this upcoming fight with Joe Calzaghe is a colossal mismatch. He will get dismantled. I’m glad he took the fight. Hopefully, it shuts him the **** up for good.

i like him alot. i was at his fight against spina and the crowd was CRAZY! louder then any other crowd i was in at a fight. prolly cuz the bad blood betweeen them and the whole hometown thing. but i was talkin to alot of ppl and most of the ppl i talked to werent from providence(im from CT) and i couldnt find one person that wanted spina to win.

he has some skill and can really go far but i have to agree that his match with Cal. will be bad. i really hope he wins and i think he will have to train like never before to have a chance. but since he switched to freddy roach i can deff see some improvement in him. i think he needs to have a couple more fights with good ppl to even think abotu fighting someone like Cal.

Kessler is too dangerous opponent at this stage for Joe. He has made 19 defences. He wants to make sure he beats Hopkins who also beat a few bums to get to that record. After beating Manfredo he will go after kessler and co.
Or maybe after beating Joe Louis record he will go after Kessler.
