Aren't you lucky. However, the Filipino people are ranked as one of the happiest people on earth. Why is that? Because Americans aren't satisfied with anything. I'm not raggin, because I'm an American of Filipino decent and am proud to be one. You talk about cultural meaning, most of the Americans not of Filipino decent that have come to into a Filipino family or have come in contact with one, have either told me they are blessed or are jelous. Filipinos are tight knit group and if you have never interacted with filipinos you just don't know nor do you have the right to judge us. Judging is an American trait and is the reason their is so much hate and racism in the country. Filipinos get along with everybody. We are loyal and give everything up just to help other people as much as we can. We respect our elders, God, and Family. Its funny, I have been in several convalecsent nursing homes, and everytime I walked in I see old people with lonely faces and non of them were Filipino. We just think it is wrong to subject our parents to that. I can go on and on about cultural ****, but as a Filipino, I wouldnt wanna be you or anybody else that wasn't one. I am happy and proud to be Pinoy and you can have whatever it is you have, I don't want it.
