Valero looks like he has the power, but as said befor leaves his self open alot. Surly a quality fighter like pac would over turn him.
On paper valero has only had 20 fights, against noone notable and less than 25 rounds of boxing in total pro boxing i think. Surly a mismatch?

Valero looks very one dimensional in that fight. PAC would murder him fo real.

Like someone said you can see his punches coming from a mile off

There should be a video of it in youtube. I can't put a link right now. My work blocked the site. They went back and forth. Pretty entertaining for a sparring session.

If he can't fight Americans and Mexicans, he's not getting the best opponents.

This fight should not have been stopped on the one knock down IMO. Are the promoters afraid to let Valero go into the later rounds?

I don't think he could beat Pacquiao, but man would I ever like to see the fight anyways.

Valero looks very strong and fast, but also his hooks are very wide and amateurish. He is flat footed, but there is nothing wrong with that if your a big puncher, you can be flat footed. I really think that his pursuit of the record for first round knockouts has actually severely hurt his development. A lot of the recklissness and being flat footed comes from constantly training for the first round knockout. I heard a rumour that he has a clause in his contract for a large money bonus whenever he takes somebody out in the first round. By the 19 fight guys should be perfecting their defense and learning how to use the early rounds to set up the later rounds. Great physical abilities though, and he looks to have a devastating straight left.
