I sure did. 4 fights at least. And I still think he is a wild swinger who needs to improve his craft before being fed to Pac. Otherwise he won't stand 3 rounds. Besides, I'd rather see him cleared physically because Pac's first solid punch to the head might send Valero to the hospital, or worse, to the morgue. We all know why he can't fight in the US.

Ok Mister know-it-all without looking it up why can't he fight in the US, when he is allowed to fight ANYWHERE else in the world and has been knocked down and still managed to get up and knock his man out? Valero could cause problems for Pac no questions about it, and i think Pacquiao's power is being overrated a bit after his KO of Morales.

I saw 3 of his 1st round KOs and wasnt impressed. I heard he fought completely different when he got past the first round though.

You should watch the mosquera fight. After dropping vicente twice in the first he seemed to panic for a couple of rounds, probably because he knew he wouldn't put him away early, but from round 4 onwards he was landing non-stop bombs, it was a massacre.
He was being paid bonuses to knock out fighters in the 1st round, which is a possible reason for why he looked so sloppy in his first 18 fights.

i think he can't fight in the states because he had a motorcycle accident and hurt his head pretty bad. so now he can't get medical clearance from the US doctors, so he can't fight in the USA.

but like my friends said it gives HBO a chance to host a fight in Manny's backyard, since the last time they went to do it the Philippines had a Ku' D'etat, guys were trying to over throw the governement. now that is all cleared, HBO will probably set up shop over there.

Barrera is scheduled after Valero according to Arum. They wanna give Manny a run out in front of the home folks and Barrera is a fight best saved for Vegas and PPV
