Calzaghe vs Kessler

My apologies if anyone has recently asked this, but is there any question of this fight happening?

I have to admit I've never seen Kessler fight but I've heard good things, while I've watched Calzaghe 3 times now and been very impressed with him. Anyone able to compare the two?

all i can say is kessler had better be very very good to even trouble joe

i doubt the fight will ever happen anyway

I know, no-one in the sport is interested in unification it seems, not when so much TV money is at stake - you can have 4 contender vs champion fights, or one! which scenario would most TV execs pick?

I know that, and there is O'neill bell at cruiser, etc etc, I just meant that to the money men no-one wants to see ONE champion - they might let it go down to two, but if kessler fights Beyer, he wont fight calzaghe for his belts - bet you a fiver.

I'd take that fiver. Calzaghe will be Kessler's next target after he takes Beyer's belt. In fact Kessler has already been trying to make the fight happen. Ball will be in Joe's court.

I havenīt heard any interviews with Kessler over the past two and a half years, where he didnīt mention Calzaghe as his dreamfight. It would be all up to Calzaghe, and how could he say no to this unification fight? The fight has to happen.

Being from Denmark, I'm obviously a Kessler fan. But I have to say, I think Calzaghe would be a hard nut to crack. Kessler should do better than Lacy, but winning the fight? I doubt it, sad to say...
