**** Mundine at this point.None of the title holders should be giving Mundine a chance right now.I hope Kessler hurts Beyer.

Fighting a WBC titleholder has WAY more perspectives for everyone (except Mundine, but he's already had his shot). Unification is always a good thing, and since there's absolutely NO controversy as to who won Kessler-Mundine I, there's really no reason for Kessler-Mundine II getting in the way of a unification bout. You'd have to be related to Mundine to think so.

        Fair enough

However Mundine v Green was a title eliminator bout, so Mundine is a mandatory as far as I know. If not now then certainly after Beyer. The Calzaghe fight may have to wait but I guess nothing is set in stone yet except Beyer v Kessler.

Mundine is the mandatory for Kessler's WBA belt after beating Green. The Kessler rematch for Mundine (if it ever happens) will be a tough fight to win, but he has a better shot now as he has improved immensely with the help of Roy Jones Snr in his corner. Prob will never happen, as Kessler will move on to bigger and better things after disposing of Beyer.

Anyone who says Lacy smashes Mundine is overstating it. I actually see Mundine winning that fight at Supermiddle.

Mundine may be the mandatory officially. My point is he's had his shot. What's he done to deserve another one? Defeat Green? Who cares, Beyer beat him as well, AND has a title.

Mundine may have improved under RJ sr, just remember that Kessler could barely train for the first fight due to back problems. He's past that now, so look for Kessler to be twice as good as he was the first time.

When Kessler gets his second belt, he has TWO mandatories. It's only fitting that they duke it out, to see who REALLY deserves a shot.

i think too many people are writing off mundine. for a guy who has only been boxing for 5 years you cant underestimate the rate at which he is improving! he was beating otke on points for 10 rounds in his 10th fight! he is mandatory and i htink he deserves another shot. however when kessler destroys beyer i wouldnt mind if he skipped mundine for calzag. thats all

Put it this way: Mundine was KTFO by the most featherfisted champion supermiddleweight has ever seen. Besides, Ottke was losing ALL his fights until the verdict was announced.

Beyer beat Green, Kessler beat Mundine. Beating someone who got beaten by Beyer shouldn't get you a mandatory. Beating the mandatory, or beating Beyer would make Kessler-Mundine II make sense. As it is, a Mundine-Andrade eliminator fight to determine who gets to challenge the winner of Kessler-Beyer would make the most sense.

Unifying titles to have them taken from you because you can't take on more than one mandatory at a time is pure bull****. Let the mandatories of any unified champ fight each other. ONE champ, ONE nr 1 contender!

agreed with in the main xcept for the fact that green dominated beyer hard in the first. n e ways kessler will kill beyer and then mundine will get his chance at two belts. no matter.
