Even all we hear possitve about Mundine is true, and all about Kesslers injury etc. is bogus. I still do not believe that Mundine has a real chance to beat Kessler. Kessler - Beyer is a great beginning for even better to come. I doubt the Mundine can beat Andrade anyway. Beyer probably couldn't either.

No,Calzaghe will avoid Kessler again. Before Lacy he announced that Lacy would be his last fight at 168. That he could not make weight any longer.

Then he won and Warren told him that he didn't *have to* meet Kessler... he could for instnace fight Beyer - then Calzaghe decided to stay. He then issued offers to Manfredo, Beyer Allen Green and a few other 168ers, but it seems he (as usual) wanted them to fight for peanuts, so they didn't come off. The Beyer fight apparently stopped because of injury issues.

However, Calzaghe was still looking to stay at 168 afterall.

THEN, ALARM!!!!!!!! Kessler is fighting Beyer at 168!!! oO.... that pretty much means that if Calzaghe stays at 168 now, he will have to meet Kessler....

It will be interesting to see what Calzaghe will do. I believe he somehow will have to step up to the plate in case Kessler wins. Probably the money will also be right.
At the moment it seems that Palle is trying to sell the Kessler - Beyer fight to US networks. Also it seems Kessler has meetings with people behind "the contender" however I can not really see that he is a contender anymore. Probably only for exposure in USA.

The Super Middleweight division - isn´t that what us-fans named the Lacy-division?
So - you picked the wrong winner last time, maybee because you didn´t know to much about Calzaghe... do you really wan´t to make that mistake again with Kessler??? So US don´t have any sm´s the could take on Calzaghe, that doesn´t mean no one can...

Actually ive seen many off Calzaghes bouts from Eubank years ago to Reid,Omar Sheika, richie woodhall, veit,,Mitchell, salem,Ashire should i carry on my knowledge really is alot more than one calzaghe fight

Kessler would get his ass taken 2 school if he eva faced calzaghe and i believe most ppl would agree

Joe Calzaghe is a great fighter no doubt....BUT his claim to fame is winning a shut-out over Jeff Lacy.... all the hype that surrounded Lacy was pathetic... in reality Lacy brought absolutly nothing to the dance other than a win over a SHOT` Robin Reid and a fancy nickname..... Calzaghe never made tomato can opponents look that bad.. guys like Pudwill, Ashira, Salem, Jimenez, Starie, Ferraya, Reid etc all done far better against Calzaghe than Lacy did.... was it that Calzaghe was so good or that Lacy was so bad?...

                    People change to the better.

I seen Mundine vs Green and i gotta say it was an intersting fight.

Mundine dominated Green and had very good defense and jab.

I think it would be different fight.

dont judge fighters over a loss or a win but overall training and desire

Well, if you knew that much ahead of time about Calzaghe, why did you STILL pick the wrong man to win Calzaghe-Lacy?

And besides, the question wasn't whether you underestimated Calzaghe, but whether you underestimated Kessler. So, how many Kessler fights did you see?
