You know what it's really hard to call this fight, The first time round it was Froch all the way for me, And what Groves did was shocking quality, Groves did what he said he was going to do all a long.. It was clear to me that in the first fight Froch under estimated Groves."most of us did right"?
Now we have the second fight! I would expect Groves to hold centre ring once again, But this time Froch will be very cagey, And sticking behind the Jab, as this is the only answer to the right hand and moving to the left, Or looking for a left hook counter?? Maybe call in Tibbs to helping with this? But then Groves style is hard to predict where the punches are coming from, His speed is good his footwork is great, And to be honest so is his aggression...
Grrrrrrr I'm the same as surgeon if pushed for an answer right now I would say Froch.. But this will change I'm guessing week by week!! The vibe that this fight is creating for the British Boxing Community is the Vibe that's missing from boxing in general IMO.. Fighters like Groves/Froch are great for the sport.. This is not an easy fight for either of them..

This is how boxing use to feel like back in the day, Ooooo the anticipation Grrrrrrrrrr

Man that first fight really got me ****** in and this time now that we KNOW Groves is at this level, its gonna be an even bigger fight and we also already know the styles gel perfectly! There's something about a top class domestic dust up u just cant beat! I love these fights/events that get the man in the street talking boxing!

Froch is often-viewed as one-dimensional - a Captain Caveman kind of fighter who relies on conditioning, brute strength/power and heart - but he's got a good track record of evaluating what needs to be changed and McCracken is also very technically astute as well. Second time round against Kessler the tactics were spot-on and the fight was convincingly won.
It's really the right hand I think. Below, you can see Froch is scared to throw the jab because he knows a right hand is coming back. He eventually commits to the jab and ****, Groves hits him with a big right hand Funniest thing about this round is that Groves lands about 25 big shots, yet he's the one more hurt by the end of the round.

Groves is going to have a much better build up to the fight now which will help too.

No battles with booth to contend with

You're spot on as usual Weebler....but McCracken is clever, insightful and pragmatic and that's exactly the sort of issue he'll have identified and now be pinpointing and seeking to rectify.

Froch will be getting drilled into oblivion to take that shot away from Groves and he is the kind of personality who will respond well to this challenge.

I remain convinced that Froch learns from his fights extremely well (I liked the way he turned boxer against Abraham after trying to put it on Ward) and that he will be far more dangerous for George second time round.

Either way...I am loving this fight.

Froch getting written off by some people will be music to his ears.

Remember what happened to the much fancied Bute?

Buzzing for this fight, just hope it is in London.

Groves came into that fight with a lot of chaos swirling around his trainer situation yet still performed superbly.

I have to think that he'll do even better next time with a proper camp plus with the added confidence that he knows he can hurt Froch.

It will not be easy for Froch. This is one tough fight.

Froch is going to need to get Pascal in the training camp for this one..
Pascal could mimic the right hands coming in as thats his best shot anyway..
                      If not Kessler..

Either way he needs to tighten up his left hand lead, far far to open for Groves. If he's doesnt Groves will hit him all day again..

Froch has to come in beast mode for this fight lol..
