  • Billy Joe Saunders

Realistically, how far do you see him going?

Pretty far but not all the way. He's one of the weakest punchers i've ever seen.

He reminds me of Amir Khan in a way, just with a better chin and a weaker punch.

Decent domestic level fighter and as everyone has said ,he lack any punch what so ever and I still doubt his commitment to the sport. You don't play boxing!

He'll go all the way as in reaching championship level. He'll fight for a belt or two, depending on the current landscape - maybe become a champion. If not, he'll make for a good contender kind of like your Barker/Murray/Macklin-esque fighters now.

He doesn't have great power but it's good enough and he's got very fast hands with good boxing ability. I don't think he even sits down on his punches. I'd say he's the best talent out of the '08 lot.

I think he has good foot and hand speed but his style has a lot of holes. He uses way too much movement in my opinion and doesnt sit down on his punches enough (hand problems?). I'd rather he throws less more accurately than going down the Amir Khan flurry route.

            He'll reach world level though.

I still reckon John Ryder is better.

I think we will find this out in 2014 because Billy Joe has nearly cleared-out the domestic scene and needs to move up whilst the likes of Andy Lee, Macklin and possibly Martin Murray are looking for a major fight before pushing for the top again. Eubank Junior might well be in the mix also because he has to make some kind of move as well.

There's a good chance that Saunders and Eubank Jr will take-on the established old gaurd in 2014 in some shape or form.

For my money, Saunders is a wee bit better than some guys are giving him credit for. He did a good job on Ryder who is very useful indeed and I liked the way he took down the fancied Aussie kid Fletcher as well.

I reckon BJS beats Andy Lee (who ive never rated), Macklin (on the slide) and Eubank Jr (not quite ready yet).

He also beats the Murray who turned up the other night, but would struggle against the Murray from the Martinez fight imo

All except the Eubank jr fight I think are good fights to take.
