i did read your post several times and getting a good laugh, anyway.. lets make a bet? we both go all in, me on froch and you betting on groves, if i win i get all your points if you win you get ALL my points

If you did read the original post you'll see that I don't think Groves will beat Froch. I am just asking what would be the next step for Groves if he showed several levels above what he's shown so far.

I'm not saying he will (although you wait there will still be a couple of idiots who don't read this part & get all cyber warrior on me ) but in the unlikely event that Groves shows us several levels above what's he's done so far & wins the fight easily - whether by wide UD or takes Froch apart - what would be next?

The winner of Ward v Rodriguez would be the obvious choice but what do you think would be a viable option?

There's a DeGale rematch, a big money bout against Kessler in Denmark, a fight against Oosthuizen or something else?

Again, I gave him a bit of a chance when this fight was made but the more shenanigans that surround his camp the less chance I give him (although it could have the opposite effect).

Interesting question, if and this is a massive IF, Groves manages to outclass Froch and look like a truly world class opponent in the process, much like Ward did (the only man to outclass Froch in my opinion), then he would be right up there as the best super middleweight on the planet.

The only fight that would make sense at that point is between Ward and Groves, both men would seemingly be on the same level at that point.

I think you're wrong about the Froch Ward rematch, Mister Hard Top.

Froch was clueless against Ward for several rounds but came on strong later on. Whether this is through him figuring things out a little or Ward dropping off we don't know but it's a selling point for a rematch.

Couple that with Froch destroying Bute & avenging Kessler - as well as Ward having a long lay off - and I think the fight is necessary (to paraphrase) as they're the two best fighters in the division.

And if (a HUGE if) Ward comes to the UK it's a 30,000 football stadium sell out.

I still think Ward beats Froch though unless something drastic has happened to him during the lay off.

Fighting Chavez would be a joke... Groves is much much better than that fool and it'd be only a money fight.

GGG if he beats Groves, nothing else will do.
