Groves' style is not a great matchup for Froch.

However, Froch always matches up bad on paper and I think he will knock Groves out at some point.

IF Groves were to win, I would like the DeGale rematch (I had DeGale winning the first fight by 1 point).

If it was so one-sided where an immediate rematch is out of question (although Hearn would push for one), surely Ward would be the most viable option?

Froch is seen as the clear number 2, and to put on a clinic against him would elavate Groves to take that position and be the next big threat to Ward at 168 who stylistcally, could cause him problems (again, accordingly to a Froch clinic).

Kessler would be a nice lucrative fight if the Dane's staying active, otherwise a big domestic showdown with Degale would also do good numbers.

Unifying with Stieglitz wouldn't be high up the list on fights that could easily be made, but domestically there is also Martin Murray..... or if we really push the boat out, GGG and Chavez Jr could be thrown into the hat.

He would definitely have some good options to go for.

George groves has a shot at beating Froch , a very good shot.If he were to beat Froch i would suggest he rematch Degale , there is still unsettled business there , But i think Hearn and Froch would want an immediate rematch if groves was to beat froch.

I see it happening like this...

Froch starts off boxing with Groves, both men land good shots but Groves lands the better and controls the fight. In the first few rounds he [Groves] lands the better shots and shows off a nice jab, Froch begins to warm up.

It's the midway point and Groves has a case to be winning the fight, either way it's close. This is where Froch starts to leave Groves behind, his persistence is tiring Groves out and he's starting to feel the Cobra's pressure.

Groves goes from putting on a good display to getting stopped in a few rounds, 'round the 8th/9th round. Froch smelt blood a round or two ago and Groves finally succumbs to an unrelenting barrage of punches.

I can see Froch catching a few big right hands though, it'll be a battle but it's just Groves' resistance stopping it from being a war.
