Calzaghe's handspeed and workrate will see him through this fight, he's already proved his chin, Lacy looks to be a readily available target.

Four years ago, Calzaghe would of landed two or three punches on the inside before Lacy would even have time to get set to load up his haymakers.. it would of been a mismatch. But Calzaghe has looked a shadow of his former self in his last three fights, and Lacy will knock him out or stop him - inside three rounds.

lacy doesnt set up to throw his haymakers. i am quite sure you havent seen more than two lacy fights if you are making that assumption.

a lot of you guys seem to be impressed by lacy`s size and power which is fair enough, but i have been to a number of calzaghe`s fights and he really is a very big supermiddleweight also i get the impression that when he fights bums, and he has fought a few he is totally unmotivated, however when he fights a good fighter he`s a class act.
He knows lacy is a danger and i believe he will show all his skills carefully outboxing lacy in the early rounds and as lacy gets more frustrated calzaghe will open up more, he really is very fast for a sm i believe he will stop lacy in 9 or 10 rounds

calzaghe is crazy to fight lacy head on. that is dangerous talk. i think he is bluffing because he is not that foolish.

I really can't see Calzaghe coping with Lacy unless he is at 100%, and I can't see him coming into the ring at 100%. Lacy's work ethic is great, who cares if he has 'show muscles' if he can swarm for 12 rounds.
