Whatever you say, your the guy whose always right. You like to make comments on members post but you never have anything interesting to say about boxing. If you don't agree with my comments thats fine but once in a while make a comment on the topic instead of crying like a lil' ***** about a members comments!

Well done Martin; a highly credible performance against a formidable champion and in the most difficult of environments.

Now you to rebuild and Ricky H needs to work on getting you a world championship fight in the UK.

I was really rooting for Murray, the fight was so winnable for him.......but he seems unable to raise the pace when he needs to, he was exactly the same against Sturm.

He was barely out of breath at the end of the 12th round and should have thrown everything he had at Martinez. He had to know the cards were close!

Murray is certainly world class. He needs to work on his finishing ability as well as his urgency.

I'm not going to call you any childish names back, Ray. I'm sorry if that's what you wanted.

          And it's who's, not whose.

But a good effort apart from that.

I had Murray winning about two pts, the majority of Martinez's offence was caught on the gloves.
I'm not convinced Sergio has lost anything really, he might be a little too fresh off his injury to fight at full capacity but Murray adopted a similar game plan to Barker. He kept his hands up, jabbed well but in Murray's case he attacked when he needed too and didnt get silly.

              Who did you have winning?

I'll admit I was drunk last night but I scored the fight one round up to Murray. I usually write down my scores but didn't last night (I think I had a beer in each hand) so can't go back & check.

I also think I may have given Murray a 10-8 round for the 2nd knockdown which was wrong of me - even though the ref made a mistake (or did he?).

Either way, ever since this fight got made I thought it was winnable for Murray. Sergio has had a great career but the signs have been there in his previous three fights. He still has the speed & skill but the body is starting to unravel a little.

There won't be a rematch so where does Murray go from here? I'd love to see a British Isles tourny (I include Lee in that as it's a geographical term) but I can't see it happening.
I thought Martin Murray won the fight by a couple of rounds (115-112)... he got robbed... even though the rounds are 7-5... I thought Murray was a clear winner... Sergio deserved to lose his title last night...

make a poll and I'm sure majority will vote for Murray. Not sure how most of you count punches instead of watching boxing..anyways, I believe Murray had slight advantage over Sergio. maximum - draw, but 115-112? biased judges

You like your liquor, don't you taansend?

I scored it 114-113 for Murray. If the slip had been called a knock down, as it should of in my eyes, it would have been 114-112.

Pour yourself back in a bottle tuff guy, next time you want to comment on a fight or the members here try to stay sober!!! No one likes a sloopy drunk or someone who thinks its cool to say they were drunk on a forum. Then again maybe you make more sense drunk than sober but again maybe it makes no difference. Enough with you, your certainly not worth the print!
Just another punk azz kid trying to be apart of something he knows nothing about! Now go away sonny and take those bottles out of your closet theres enough secrets in there you lil !! Moron! Just another drunken boxing fan hahahaha!!! The ones that hang on the back wall of the arena dreaming of kicking the champs azz!!!! Another drunkin' dreamer! Ray.

You forgot his misspelling of "you're", too!

I had a power cut during the fight, so I missed rounds 2, 3 and 4. Going by the open scoring after round 8 and the final 4 rounds, though, I thought Murray done enough to win the fight.
