    Earliest Pro Debut?

Which current (either fought in the last six months or has a fight lined up) fighter turned pro the longest ago?

I haven't checked but off the top of my head I'm going to say Oliver McCall.

I think Saoul Mamby must have had the longest continuous pro career.

I don't know, how you define "continuous", but Mamby had huge gaps of 4 and 8 years in his career... so I don't think he qualifies.

Kid Azteca, on the other hand, had at least 1 pro bout in each of 33 consecutive years 1939-61 - which no one else can beat. Archie Moore is closest with 29 consecutive years.

    Edit: Sorry, I mean 1929-61.

Earliest pro debut officially registered, is Wilfred Benitez..
Think he was 17, but there's plenty of old timers who lied about their age to get into the paid ranks..

I think he means out of all active boxers who turned pro first , Hopkins must be close

Yori Boy Campas is a decent shout, the bloke has been fighting since July 1987 and is probably still not finished.

Born in 1971 so made pro debut at early as well.

119 fights later and Yori would probably give an up-and-comer a seriously nasty night at the fights.
