      Haye = K.O Gurov rnd 1

      Not a fair comparison i know, but it certainly proves something. To my mind O'neil Bell would be easy money for Haye at this point. Im not gonna comment on Braithwaite cos i've never seen him fight, but from a quick scan on boxrec it appears that he lost to Bell. Oh dear.

        Well, he needs to take care of his home division first. Knock off the Maccarrinelli-Nelson winner and then give Thompson a farewell loss. After that he'll be in perfect position to fight the real Cruiserweight champion (winner of Mormeck-Bell). Or he can take a fight in America to earn a little more esposure, and take the title fight next. But, back to the question at hand.

        I refuse to believe that a big cruiserweight is too small for most heavyweights. Size doesn't mean ****. Haye's power is prodigious, and if he's learned from his loss, he can successfully move up, and at the very least win an alphabet title or two.

          I think Haye could beat everyone except Toney. Haye vs Lamon Brewster would be a great fight. I dont think Haye's chin is too bad, but it is possible he'll end up like Herbie Hide who has got a cruiserweight's chin. I think he should stay at cruiser and clean up there before thinking about moving up to heavy. I think Haye can definitely be a legendary cruiserweight.

            Agreed.....it is in his interests to make a huge name for himself in the cruisers before moving up. He definately could already cope though, imagine the mess he'd make of some of the british heavies....Krence, Mcdermott etc.. no disrespect to them they are good fighters, but Haye is in a completely different class. I can't wait to see him box again...

                It proves NOTHING.

                Mormeck isn't a big one punch KO fighter. He's methodical, breaks guys down with a blistering body attack, has huge chin, and is relentless.

                Haye has nothing on Mormeck at this point.

                He's a promising prospect, but he has a lot to prove (like beating a top Cruiserweight) before he's regarded as a top Cruiserweight or even thinks about going up to Heavyweight.

                  ive been very impressed with what ive seen and think that, especially in todays situation, he could be one of the top heavies

                  however i think he should climb to the top of the cruisers first so that he can gain experience for the big guys with more power

                    Yeah i think Haye needs to get more experience and fight the top cruisers first. He also needs fights that are gonna test his stamina cause thats the main question mark against him at the moment... When he moves up to heavy he's gonna be fighting guys who are bigger and stronger and wont go down as easy, so he'll have to be able to have the stamina to go into the later rounds.

                      haye wont cut it at HW. with stamina problems and a weak chin and a small frame, he wont be able to stand up to the "giants" of the HW division.
