I've really become a big fan of the lad in the past 12-18 months, and i think domestically he's the best at the weight. He's proved more than Frampton, and with the decline of Booth, a Munroe victory would lead to big things this year.
Quiggs has come on leaps and bounds last couple of years but I personally have a little sneaky feeling for Munroe. I really like both fighters however Rendal is an absolute beast at the weight in terms of size if not punching power. Quigg will have to pull out a career best but is more than capable.

Did anyone see ringside last night with Quigg Munroe and McGuigan?

I was cracking up when Quigg and Munroe started to fire shots at McQuigan about Frampton. Barry has been p*ssing me off for months with his completely bias opinions of his fighter. I know he's his manager and he looks a fantastic prospect but he doesn't even try to remain impartial. (I know he could potentially be as good as he suggests but your on a TV show ffs, pipe down a bit)

When Munroe asked McGuigan: If you were in charge of me, would you let me fight Framptom, when I've just come off a decent showing at world level? Remember Frampton deosn't have a decent fighter on his record, is not ranked number 2? I don't McGuigan answered him. Brilliant.

I'll be rooting on Quigg/Munroe when the fights with Framptom happen just in the hope of seeing Barry getting brought down a peg or two. It's a bit unfair on Frampton as he is a good looking prospect who I actually quite like. (I don't mind Barry either just when it comes to Frampton)

It makes me laugh how Mguigan says Quigg is avoiding Frampton when hes taken the harder fight in boxing a former world title challenger, i think its a good fight for Quigg but a tough one because if he does lose then he has nowhere to go other than fight Frampton however i think Quigg will pull threw i believe Joe Gallagher will get the game plan right it will be a tough bout and very close but i believe Quigg will pull through with a Close Points Win probably something like 115-113 on two of the three cards.

I think Munroe may try and prove a point in this fight that he still has it...But its gonna be a good fight, Hats off to both fighters for making this fight happen..

deffo mate and if Quigg comes through this fight with the win you'd have to fancy him in a frampton fight because the experience that this fight will give him will be invalauble if he wants to go on and challenge for a world title in the future.
Although if Quigg beats a world title challenger in Munroe does he really need to box frampton as im sure it will put him high up in the rankings.

At the moment Frampton is looking good, and I think he will do well but Barry needs to cool it with he is the best thing since sliced bread, As what's gonna happen if he gets exposed? Mmmmmm
